Q – What is Let’s Talk Power?
Talk Power is an open platform where leading figures in business, government and academia address and debate key energy issues of the day.
Q – Why should I attend?
We are at a pivotal moment in shaping the UK’s energy future. Decisions taken in the coming decade will determine the energy landscape for the next 50 years.
Balancing the urgent need for energy investment with an uncertain economic outlook is set to test policy makers and businesses alike. This challenge is brought into further focus when we consider how UK business can remain competitive whilst taking a global lead on energy efficiency and carbon reduction.
It is in this environment that Talk Power 2011, EDF Energy’s annual B2B conference for senior decision makers, will ask policy makers, business leaders and opinion formers what lies ahead for UK energy over the next decade. You will be given unparallel insights into the future of the energy market over the coming years.
Q – Who will be going?
People with senior roles in specifying how their organisations procure and use energy. They’re normally directors, heads of and senior managers from the finance, procurement, CSR, environment and energy functions. Their organisation will typically use more than a million pounds worth of energy per year.
